The Cat Behind The Logo

When people see my logo, they often notice the sleek black cat. What many don’t know is that this design has a very personal story behind it.

I created my iconic black cat logo when I was just 16 years old. At the time, I was in my graphics class and we were given an assignment to design a logo that represented us. Immediately, I thought of my childhood cat, Meowy. Yes, I know, a pretty silly name. But to me, she was so much more than that.

Meowy was my very first best friend. She was there for me in every stage of growing up, always by my side. Designing her face as my logo felt like the perfect way to capture something that meant so much to me. It was not just a design project. It was a tribute to a bond that shaped who I am.

Even now, years later, my black cat logo still represents me and the heart behind my work. It is more than a brand mark. It is a piece of my story.

Meowy passed away in September 2020 from old age. Rest in peace, sweet girl. Your memory lives on every time someone sees the cat behind the logo.
